Hello, hello, hello, friends!

Sorry to be so absent from around here lately! Life’s been crazy! Anyhow, this week I’m back and with more music for ya! I’ve been obsessed lately with four songs in particular: “Moving Mountains” by Skylar Grey, “Daddy Issues” by The Neighbourhood, “Polarize” by Twenty One Pilots, and “Radioactive (Cover)” by Koda. All such amazing, incredible, fantabulous songs! I just can’t get enough. So of course, I had to share with you! Here you are, my lovelies!

This week is a bit of a throwback to a teen 🙂
When I was 17, I spent a month at Governor’s School for Math, Science, and Technology and one of my best friends there introduced me to Eliza Doolittle and I fell in love with her music. It’s just so poppy and upbeat and positive that you can’t help smile when you hear it! Whenever I hear her songs, I flash back to some of my favorite memories. I hope these songs give you a good time too!

People of Earth! I come bearing music! This week it’s Major Lazer and Sia! I’m in a happy, dance-y mood and I want to share it, so this week my musical obsessions are “Light It Up” by Major Lazer ft. Nyla and Fuse ODG and “Cheap Thrills” by Sia. And that’s all I got for ya. It hasn’t been a very revolutionary week in music for me, but I have found these two happy songs which make me smile, so that’s something!

Hey guys! Welcome back to Monday Music, where I share my latest music obsessions! This week, my newest obsession is Carla Morrison. I think she sounds like a modern, female Chris Isaak. I love how smoky, yet fairy-like her voice sounds. I don’t speak Spanish (my second language is Arabic), so I have no idea what she’s saying, but it sounds good to me 😉 . I’m particularly obsessed with the song “Un Beso”!

Hey guys! Welcome back to Monday Music, where I share my latest music obsessions! Lately I’ve been really into Ruelle. I came across her song “Take It All” on 8Tracks when searching playlists for The 100. I liked it so I listened for more on Spotify and fell in love. She has this interesting mix of pop, grit, and electric. She reminds me of a poppy-er Lorde.

Listening to Ruelle alsoo lead me to find Spotify’s Nashvile Indie Spotlight playlist and ohmygod I love everything on it!
